Als Head of Finance (w/m/d) übernimmst du die Gesamtverantwortung für unsere Finanzen in Europa. Du bist zentrale Ansprechperson für das Management in Finanzfragen, führst unser Finance-Team und sorgst dafür, dass alle lokalen und internationalen Finanz- und Compliance-Vorgaben eingehalten werden. Du verantwortest das gesamte Finanzreporting, die Budgetierung und Forecasts über Länder- und Währungsgrenzen hinweg. Du behältst das große Ganze im Blick, machst Zahlen verständlich und bringst Finance und Business auf eine Linie. Du berichtest direkt an den General Manager EU und arbeitest eng mit dem US-Team zusammen.

DAS ERWARTET DICH
  • Du gestaltest eine inspirierende Finanz-Vision – mit klaren Zielen, KPIs und Meilensteinen, die dein Team motivieren und Orientierung geben
  • Du treibst Profitabilität voran – durch gezielte Kostenkontrolle, smarte Kostensteuerung, effiziente Prozesse und enge Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Teams
  • Du verantwortest sämtliche Finanzprozesse: von Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen (Konzern & Einzelgesellschaften) über Budgets, Forecasts und Abweichungsanalysen bis hin zu steuerlichen und behördlichen Reports
  • Du stellst die Einhaltung nationaler und internationaler Rechnungslegung sicher (US GAAP, UGB) und stärkst interne Kontrollsysteme inkl. SOX-Compliance
  • Mit smarten Tools und datengetriebenem Denken bringst du Finance auf das nächste Level – machst Zahlen greifbar und lieferst genau die Insights, die strategische Entscheidungen voranbringen
  • Koordination interner und externer Audits sowie Vorbereitung erforderlicher Unterlagen
  • Du bist aktiv an internationalen Projekten beteiligt, optimierst Prozesse und arbeitest eng mit unserem US-Team zusammen
DAS BRINGST DU IDEALERWEISE MIT
  • Studium im Bereich Finance, Accounting, BWL oder vergleichbar
  • Du bringst mehrjährige Erfahrung im Finanzumfeld mit, idealerweise ergänzt durch erste Führungserfahrung
  • Umfassende Kenntnisse in US GAAP, lokalen Rechnungslegungsstandards (UGB) sowie Steuerrecht und SOX-Compliance
  • Erfahrung im Umgang mit ERP-Systemen (z. B. Navision oder Business Central)
  • Du verstehst es, Teams zu motivieren, zu fördern und weiterzuentwickeln
  • Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse

  • Klare und überzeugende Kommunikation – du bist sicher im Umgang mit verschiedenen Stakeholdern, auch auf internationaler Ebene

JOIN OUR TEAM
As our Head of Finance (f/m/x), you’ll take full responsibility for our financial operations across Europe. You act as a strategic partner to the management team, lead and develop our finance team, and ensure compliance with local and international financial and regulatory requirements. You oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across countries and currencies. You keep the big picture in mind, translate numbers into insights, and align finance with the business. You report directly to the General Manager EU and collaborate closely with our US-based team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You create an inspiring finance vision - setting clear goals, KPIs, and milestones that motivate your team and provide direction
  • You drive profitability through targeted cost control, smart cost management, efficient processes, and close collaboration with other teams
  • You oversee all financial processes: from monthly, quarterly, and annual closings (both consolidated and individual entities) to budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and regulatory reporting
  • You ensure compliance with national and international accounting standards (US GAAP, UGB) and strengthen internal controls including SOX compliance
  • Using smart tools and a data-driven approach, you take finance to the next level - turning numbers into actionable insights
  • You coordinate internal and external audits and prepare all necessary documentation
  • You actively participate in international projects, optimize processes, and collaborate closely with our US-based team
WHAT YOU IDEALLY BRING WITH YOU
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in the finance sector, ideally with initial leadership responsibilities
  • Extensive knowledge of US GAAP, local accounting standards (UGB), tax law, and SOX compliance
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Navision or Business Central)
  • A knack for motivating, developing, and empowering teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working internationally
  • Fluent in German and English
